In short
What is a 72-Hour Strategy Bootcamp?
The 72-Hour Strategy Bootcamp is strategy1's fixed-fee strategy bootcamp for leadership teams with one real problem. Over 3–5 days, a Strategy Partner, Forward Deployed Strategists and AI agents build a starter Strategy Twin, red-team the options and deliver a working strategy with a decision memo your leadership signs. The fee is credited to an Engine Sprint.
Good first problems include go-to-market strategy, brand strategy, investment strategy and event sponsorship strategy. Every Bootcamp follows the S1 Method.
The Compression Challenge
Bring a problem your team scoped in weeks. Watch us solve it live.
Before we start, we write down how long your team or a specialist would take. At the readout we show how long it took us, with the method. That is your Compression Index.
Shown with its method, never as a promise. No baseline, no index.

What happens, and when
You do
- Frame the decision and the success metric with us — your CXOs in the room.
- The people who hold the data join for a few hours.
We do
- Discovery with the FDS and Strategy Partner.
- Agents read your documents and public market, competitor and regulatory sources; data gaps are graded.
- The starter Twin is built. Gate H1: an ontology engineer reviews its structure at day end.

Hours are indicative. Bootcamps normally end at gate H2. Any actions are staged and wait for your owner’s acceptance at gate H3.

If you stop: your starter Twin and outputs are exported to you and deleted on the schedule in your contract.
FAQ
Before you book
Is it really 72 hours?
The work runs over 3 days, hours 0 to 72. We hold up to 2 more days in case data arrives late.
What does it cost?
It is a fixed fee for a fixed scope, exclusive of GST. Request the price sheet
What if we do not continue?
You keep the outputs. Your starter Twin is exported to you and deleted on the contracted schedule.
What if the answer is “don’t do it”?
Then the memo says so, with the evidence. A red-teamed “no” is a result.
Do you need access to our systems?
Read-only access to one folder of documents is usually enough. Nothing is written to your systems without your owner’s approval.
How is a strategy bootcamp different from a strategy workshop?
A workshop gathers views. The 72-Hour Strategy Bootcamp works one real decision through to an answer: it ends with a working strategy, a red-team report, a starter Strategy Twin, an evidence ledger and a decision memo your leadership signs at a Strategy Council session.
Who should attend a strategy bootcamp?
From your side: a sponsor who owns the decision, the CXOs who will sign it, the people who hold the data (for a few hours on Day 1) and the owners who will act on it. From strategy1: a Strategy Partner, Forward Deployed Strategists, an ontology engineer and, where liability exists, a Domain Fellow.
What happens in a 72-Hour Strategy Bootcamp, day by day?
- Before hour 0: Set-up. The scope is agreed with your sponsor, your baseline is written down, and the data and workspace are made ready.
- Day 1, hours 0–24: Sense + Model. Agents read your documents and public sources and build the starter Twin and its evidence ledger. Gate H1: an ontology engineer reviews its structure.
- Day 2, hours 24–48: Simulate + red team. Models run in our own code and the red team attacks each option. You get an option set with scenarios and failure modes.
- Day 3, hours 48–72: Decide. A Strategy Council session and the readout. You choose. Gate H2: the decision memo is signed and your starter Twin goes live.
Days 4–5 are held for data delays only.
