This website is operated by ELAN1 AGENTIC TECHNOLOGIES PRIVATE LIMITED, and strategy1 is its brand. In this notice, "we" and "us" mean that company.

Responsibility depends on how the data reaches us.

• Data you give this website: For enquiries, the Readiness Scan, bookings, job and Fellow applications, Review subscriptions and trust requests, ELAN1 AGENTIC TECHNOLOGIES PRIVATE LIMITED is the data fiduciary. strategy1 is its brand.
• Client data in an engagement: When a client shares data with us during an engagement, the client is normally the data fiduciary. We process that data on the client's behalf, as a data processor, under the engagement letter and our data-processing terms. An NDA and data-processing terms come before any data changes hands.
• Our service providers: Hosting and AI model providers process data for us as our processors, under contract.

We collect only what each touchpoint needs:

• Website forms: name, work email, organisation, role, phone (if given), what you write and any file you upload.
• Readiness Scan: your answers to a fixed set of questions and the consent you record.
• Newsletter: your work email and your consent to receive the strategy1 Review.
• Careers: your application, CV and the note you write.
• Domain Fellow applications: your discipline, registration details, sectors, conflicts and CV.
• Cookies and local storage: only what is strictly necessary. We count visits with Plausible Analytics, which uses no cookies and collects no personal data; you can switch it off. See the cookie notice.

We use each item for the purpose you gave it to us for: to reply to you, to arrange the work you asked about, to assess an application, or to send the Review you subscribed to. We rely on your consent, or on the legitimate uses the Act allows. We do not sell your data.

The Scan is a Claude agent with no access to your systems. It uses web search only and follows a fixed set of questions. Your answers seed a Bootcamp brief only if you continue and agree.

We use service providers under contract: cloud hosting (Vercel; our server functions run in its Mumbai region), web analytics (Plausible, which collects no personal data), AI model providers (including Anthropic's Claude models) and email. They process personal data for us, as our processors, and only on our instructions. Some processing, including AI processing, may happen outside India.

We keep prospect data for 12 months after our last contact, then delete it. Other data classes are kept only as long as their purpose needs, and logs are kept as the DPDP Rules and CERT-In directions require.

You can ask to access, correct, complete or erase your data, nominate someone to act for you, and raise a grievance. Use the privacy request form or email hariharan@elan1.ai, and we will respond within the time the DPDP Rules set.

You can withdraw consent as easily as you gave it, at any time. Withdrawal does not affect processing that happened before it. From 13 Nov 2026 you may also manage consent through a registered Consent Manager.

This site is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect children's personal data.

We protect personal data with role-based access, single sign-on and multi-factor authentication for our staff. We hold no security certifications today; the trust centre shows what is in place and what is in progress.

If a breach affects your data, we will tell you and the authorities as the law requires.

Raise a complaint with our grievance officer first, at hariharan@elan1.ai. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may complain to the Data Protection Board of India.
