Definition
The Strategy Readiness Scan is strategy1's free, 30–60 minute AI diagnostic of one strategic decision. You answer six readiness questions, one for each part of the Strategy Twin, and get an AI diagnostic, one insight you did not have, and a suggested engine to start with. It can be self-serve or hosted.
Also called: Readiness Scan, free strategy assessment.
Explained in full on Strategy Readiness Scan.
Context
Many strategy questions stall before anyone knows which kind of work they need. The Scan gives a fast, low-commitment read on one decision, shows which parts of the picture are missing, and points to the engine most likely to help.
In practice
The Scan is the first of strategy1's ways to work together. It can be taken self-serve on the site or hosted: 30–60 minutes with a Forward Deployed Strategist on a video call. If the result fits, the usual next step is a 72-Hour Strategy Bootcamp on the same decision.
FAQ
The Strategy Readiness Scan is a free, 30–60 minute diagnostic of one decision. The 72-Hour Strategy Bootcamp is a fixed-fee engagement of 3–5 days that takes one real problem to a working strategy, a starter Strategy Twin and a decision memo signed by the client's leadership.
The Strategy Readiness Scan suggests one of strategy1's eight engines as a place to start, for example LaunchEngine for a launch, CapitalEngine for an investment question or BrandEngine for a brand decision, based on your answers about one decision.
Because a strategy decision depends on the whole picture: market, competition, company, capital, context and the decision itself. One question per part shows where your evidence is strong and where it is thin, which is what the Readiness Scan diagnostic reports.
A 72-Hour Bootcamp takes one problem your team would scope in weeks and works it to a decision memo your leadership signs. Fixed scope, fixed fee.
