“AI is fast” is easy to say. We would rather show it. For every case we publish, we show the independent specialist's estimate written down before we started, the time we actually took, what we delivered and who checked it. The ratio between the 2 is our Compression Index.
  • Written baseline before work starts
  • Like-for-like scope
  • Client waiting time treated the same on both sides
  • Outliers shown, not trimmed

In short

strategy1 proves its work with published cases measured by the Compression Index: an independent specialist's written baseline time divided by strategy1's time for the same deliverable. Every case also shows what was delivered, who validated it, the red-team findings and what the work could not do. No baseline, no index, and outliers are shown, not trimmed.

Front and centre

Compression Index

Specialist baseline time ÷ strategy1 time, for the same deliverable.

No measured case is published yet. Each will be published with its baseline.

No case is published yet: a case goes live only with its baseline and the client’s written permission. Subscribe to the strategy1 Review to hear when they are published.

Every case shows

Who estimated (their discipline), what scope, how long, and when it was written. Linked to the anonymised baseline document.

What we count

Three rules behind every number

  1. 01

    The baseline is written first.

An independent specialist estimates the same scope before we start. No baseline, no index.

  2. 02

Our time is all our time.

Agent runs, strategist work, human review and Domain Fellow sign-off all count.

  3. 03

    Outliers stay in.

We report the slow cases as well as the fast ones.

Quality, not only speed

Speed means nothing if the work is wrong.

Every published case also shows who validated the output, the red-team findings and what the work could not do.

  • 01Who validated the output
  • 02The red-team findings
  • 03What the work could not do
